Commemorative Coin Boxes
These are eight commemorative coin boxes were made for a special event. The boxes were crafted old growth reclaimed walnut and the keys on the corners are koa, hickory, and lacewood. The covers are sliding dovetails with inlaid and hidden magnet catches. There is also a slide out top so the coins could be removed. A simple oil finish was applied to bring out the natural beauty of the wood.
